Thang Long Pharma Group TPG has head office in Hanoi, 2 branches in Thua Thien – Hue province and Ho Chi Minh city.
We are developing the portfolio with drugs, OTC pharmaceuticals, Medical devices, Biosimilar in diverse partnership ways of Private Label, Branded Label and physical distribution.
Our suppliers are from Europe, USA, Asia and local manufacturers.
Our main business: Direct import and distribution, consignment import, sales and marketing.
WHO WE ARE?
TPG was established in 1992 with the original name of Thang Long Trading and Service Co., Ltd – one of the first private companies dealing in pharmaceuticals established in Hanoi. The company’s main function was to trade in essential pharmaceutical products at that time such as antibiotics originating from Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Poland, Russia …) and some other vitamins. In addition to pharmaceutical products, the Company also expanded and developed into functional foods with Pagin ginseng products, which have created extensive brand names in the nationwide market.
In 1994, realizing the inevitable need of the market, we organized and established Ngoc Khanh drug market at Giang Vo exhibition center, one of the famous drug business locations of Ha Noi until now.
After that, in 2002, grasping the market demand, we established Thang Long General Hospital, which is also one of the first private hospitals in Hanoi with the function of medical examination and treatment and is now established in Vietnam. This hospital can accommodate about 100 hospital beds.
In 2008, the Company transformed its business model from a limited liability company to a joint stock company in order to improve its business capacity and efficiency. At this time, the Company’s market has shifted to the field of bidding for hospitals and distribution to companies and agents below. With many years of experience in the medical industry, TMDV Thang Long Joint Stock Company has built for itself a warehouse system that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health such as GSP, GDP…
In order to expand and diversify business activities, the Board of Directors decided to establish Thang Long Pharmaceutical Group (Thang Long Pharma Group – TPG) with the following fields of activity: bidding and prescription, selling out-of-contract products of drugs, dietary supplements, medical equipment, and cosmetics.
With a history of nearly 30 years of establishment and development, TPG has always affirmed itself as one of the leading distributors in the field of healthcare in Vietnam.

The same to VN market trends, Currently, TPG contribution is depended strongly on Hospital and Clinic business with 91% (tender and prescription in hospital and clinic). Our goal is maintaining the absolute value of hospital business but invest more on non tender business to get sustainable growth.
TPG always invest to improve system yearly (warehouse, report system, staffs training…) to provide employees a cooperative working environment, encourage innovation, ensure promotion opportunities, provide customers the best quality of service in proactive manner.
